Operation Encompass will launch in the Belfast Area on 08.05.22 and is an early intervention partnership between schools and the Police, aimed at supporting children who have been victims of domestic violence. This is achieved by a simple phone call from the Police to the schools to share information about Police attended domestic abuse incidents. This then allows the school to meet the emotional needs of children in a trauma-informed way.
