What an amazing night at Families First NI Spring Awards 2025. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us. We were humbled to read the nominations and are so happy that everyone who voted loves our wee school as much as we do. We have the most amazing school community and outstanding staff team who truly deserve this recognition.
We are so incredibly proud of our very own Miss Mc Guigan who received a special recognition award. I am sure you will all agree that Miss Mc Guigan is the most amazing person who is patient, gentle, selfless, committed and kind. She demonstrates unwavering dedication, compassion, and skill daily with her inclusive, supportive approach and ensures that every child thrives.
We are also incredibly proud of our very own Mrs Lismore who also received a special recognition award. Mrs Lismore has dedicated over 30 years to the school community of St Peter's Nursery School in her role as Nursery Assistant before her retirement in Oct 2024. She is loved and adored by our whole school community. She is elegant, friendly, kind, caring, funny, creative, innovative, loyal, professional and committed. It's wonderful to see someone as deserving as you retire Mrs Lismore. Remember to put the same effort into your free time as you put into your career. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication.

Today we recognise the hard work and dedication of teachers worldwide so join me in celebrating our wonderful team of teachers here at St Peter’s Nursery School. Mrs Hall, Mrs Catney, Miss Markey and Mrs Bailie are committed to making our school vision become a reality and work in tandem with each other to inspire, support and encourage our whole school community to ‘work together to achieve success‘ as they ‘hop, hop, hop until they reach the top’. Their dedication, passion, kindness and drive does not go unnoticed. Happy World Teachers Day ![]()
